Nikolay Holtan-Andersen´s first race was in August 2015 when he tested the GT15 Winrace of the team. Nikolay was immediately hooked on powerboatracing and with his great racing skills and energetic personality he is a great asset to the team.
Nikolay Holtan-Andersen has been brought up by the sea in Sandefjord. When he turned 13 Marit and Andrea offered him a seat in the team´s GT15 boat after seing him around in the fjord in his Cyber for a few summers. Nikolay showed great talent already from the first race. Despite being underpowered with a Suzuki engine, Nikolay fought his way up through the field and had a great start of his powerboat racing career.
With great help from the family his mother Hanne, father Alexander and his grandfather "Bessen", they bought a boat from the UK and started the 2016 season with great results. At the age of 14, on home waters, Nikolay won the Norwegian Cup race in Sandefjord and ended 2nd in the Norwegian Cup.
Nikolay is determined and has a competitive personality. With his background in both Motocross and Gymnastics, he has a good base to become a strong powerboatracer in the years to come!
